Overview

As a Software Implementation Project Manager at VisualVault, you will manage five to ten projects of varying complexity, ensuring their successful delivery within the agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards. In this role, you will guide clients through VisualVault's five-step implementation process, serving as the Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Configuration Expert. Your responsibilities will include providing expert leadership and maintaining clear communication to achieve optimal system implementation. Additionally, you will advise on VisualVault’s delivery methodology, integrating and aligning it with the client's approach. A strong command of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is crucial, enabling you to customize solutions that effectively meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end client software implementation and integration projects, overseeing the administration of contractual deliverables and timelines.
• Execute project control activities, including the creation and maintenance of detailed project plans, financial health reports, and coordination of staffing needs.
• Perform Business Analyst type tasks such as leading design discussions, creating documentation, participating in testing, and delivering end-user training.
• Identify project deviations that necessitate change orders, including scoping and creation of those change orders.
• Establish and manage customer expectations, addressing changes or gaps in project delivery.
• Provide timely internal project updates to leadership.
• Communicate project plan development, status, and changes to the team effectively.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on project planning, decision-making, and resource allocation.
• Oversee internal reporting and analysis to ensure financial profitability across multiple and/or complex projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the project, taking ownership of communication channels and offering strategic leadership to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Complete support transition activities, including documentation, platform review, and internal and external handoffs.
• Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the implementation process.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience working with external customers.
• 8+ years of experience with enterprise software implementations.
• Manage customer interactions with diplomacy and professionalism.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team through project completion stages.
• Proven success managing multiple, complex, simultaneous projects, including managing scope, time, cost, and quality of delivery.
• Capable of fulfilling multiple roles within a single project, including project manager, business analyst, configuration developer, and quality assurance lead.
• Thorough knowledge of software development process and cycle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience with business applications, Jira, MS Project, MS Office, etc.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Healthcare project implementations.
• Familiarity with BPM, DPA, ECM, and Workflow Automation.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Location

Please note that this position is an onsite/hybrid role, requiring candidates to be located in Roswell, GA; Tempe, AZ; or Burlington, MA. Project Managers are required to work from our offices a minimum of 3 times per week, and must be able to travel to the other office locations as needed.
